The greatest strength of the Heavy and Highway Division of Brawner Builders, Inc. is its diverse range of skills and capabilities.

Over the past 30 years, Brawner has built and renovated dozens of bridges, both public and private, in the Mid-Atlantic region. When emergencies arise and swift action is needed to restore traffic on our highways, Brawner is often the first to be called.

To keep the existing bridges in our region safe, Brawner maintains a fleet of 15 inspection vehicles. Brawner trucks can be seen all over, assessing and maintaining bridges of every size and shape, from tiny stream crossings to the Bay Bridge.

Brawner provides additional services within the region, including Design-Build construction, maintenance of traffic, road construction, and highway repair. Clients of the Heavy and Highway Division include the Federal Government, State Highway Administration, Maryland Transportation Authority, Maryland Transit Administration, Department of General Services, county and local governments, and numerous private agencies, corporations, and developers.
